What is a Birth Doula?
A birth doula is one who serves and supports women during labor/birth and sometimes into postpartum. Doulas are educated and trained to provide physical, emotional, mental and informational support for their clients as they navigate their unique birth!
I take my role as your birth doula very seriously. Being invited into the intimate space of birth is not to be taken lightly and it is something I honor. Over the course of your pregnancy and our time together, I want to get to know you and your partner and build a connection and a lifelong friendship. I want to help you navigate your birth in the most peaceful and joyful manner and help empower you to have the birth you desire, whatever that looks like to you!
I am here to provide knowledge, resources, personal insight, non judgmental care, and to be a source of continuous support for you and your partner during this time. During your birth, I will be by your side and will provide physical, emotional, and even spiritual support to the best of my abilities. We are a team and your birth matters to me. I am so honored you're here and cannot wait to be your birth doula!
